1. Introduction
SudSync (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile car washing service operated by Pickleball Pen LLC, a Washington State limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and services.
By using SudSync, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
- Payment Information: Credit/debit card details processed securely through Stripe. We never store full card numbers on our servers.
- Vehicle Information: Make, model, year, color, size, and license plate of vehicles you register.
- Location Information: Address and coordinates of your wash locations that you provide.
- Communication Data: Messages you send through our in-app messaging system.
- Referral Information: Referral codes shared and redeemed, and associated reward tracking.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens.
- Usage Data: App interaction patterns, features used, and session information.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, and app crash reports.
- Location Data: With your permission, we may collect precise location data to provide location-based services.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Stripe: Payment verification status and transaction confirmations.
- Firebase: Authentication data and analytics.
- Apple/Google: Authentication data if you sign in with Apple or Google.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Service Delivery: To schedule, manage, and deliver car wash services to you.
- Communications: To send you service confirmations, reminders, and updates about your washes.
- Phone Verification: To verify your identity and prevent fraudulent account creation.
- Payments: To process payments, manage subscriptions, and handle billing.
- Referral Program: To track referrals, award rewards, and prevent referral fraud.
- Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve our app and services.
- Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, including multi-account abuse.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
4. SMS Communications and Push Notifications
By creating an account and providing your phone number, you consent to receive push notifications related to your wash services, account updates, and payment alerts.
- SMS notifications are opt-in and can be enabled per category in your notification settings.
- You can manage notification preferences at any time in the app’s Notification Settings screen.
- To unsubscribe from SMS notifications, reply STOP to any message or disable SMS in your settings.
- Standard messaging rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service usage.
- We observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM Pacific Time. Notifications during these hours are queued and delivered at 6:00 AM.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate SudSync:

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- Washers: Your name, vehicle information, and wash location are shared with the washer assigned to your service. No other personal information is shared.
- Service Providers: We share necessary data with our third-party providers (listed above) to operate the service.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process.
- Safety: We may share information when we believe it’s necessary to protect the safety of our users, employees, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.
7. Data Retention
- Active Accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- Tax and Legal Records: Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by law.
- Account Deletion: Upon request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Data Security
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
- Data at rest is encrypted in our cloud infrastructure.
- Payment data is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
- We implement access controls, monitoring, and regular security reviews.
While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account.
- Opt-Out: Opt out of marketing communications and non-essential notifications.
- Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

10. Children’s Privacy
SudSync is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
11. Washington State Privacy Rights
Under the Washington My Health My Data Act, consumers have specific rights regarding health data. SudSync does not collect, use, or share health data as defined under this Act. Our services are limited to vehicle washing and do not involve the collection of health-related information.
12. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information.
We do not sell personal information.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app and/or via push notification. Your continued use of SudSync after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
